The First Lights by Christy Pastore

First off, the cover is amazing and I was totally intrigued by it and the blurb! And can I just say? I LOVE second chance romances!!

The First Lights hit me in all the feels! It gripped my heart, it made me want to cry, made me smile and laugh! Also, it wasn’t overly dramatic (which I’m totally okay with!)

Wyatt and Hannah definitely have been through so much as individuals. They connected through both losing their first love, which by the way, made me bawl my eyes out! But their connection was so raw and real! (Which I was so happy that they took that leap together! I was rooting for Wyatt and Hannah from the first time they met on the field!)

The stories they shared with one another, their tragic pasts, their mutual pain and their fears... It was beautiful to watch it all unfold into something so full of love and hope. With a hint of forbidden romance, I loved this book even more!

I also loved their moments of easy, light and funny banter!

Wyatt is seriously the perfect book boyfriend!! GAH. *swooning!* AND he has a dog, Loki! I mean, could he get any hotter? “When I make my move, there won’t be any question.” This sealed the deal for me!!

Hannah is totally badass with her tattoos! So sassy! So bold! And I love how she had comebacks when it came to Wyatt!! And by the way, she’s the best mother ever! ❤

Overall, I loved this book and everything about it! I couldn’t put it down! It’s my first book by Christy Pastore and it definitely will not be my last!!
